We launched last year to create beautiful rich-tasting artisan meats made from natural and organic meats and ingredients sourced from New Zealand finest quality Beef, Lamb and Deer. Our goal is to ensure that our customers receive the freshest meat, poultry, and seafood at a great price. We source our products daily to ensure absolute freshness and competitive pricing. Pohutukawa Smoked Angus Beef Saussi

We specialise in free-farmed and free-range products. All our beef, lamb and venison are farm-reared on great New Zealand pasture. Our relationship with specialist suppliers allows us to provide grass-fed natural or organic raised animals. We also source meats that are less commonly available, such as duck and turkey. Zaroa NZ does not process any pork and is Halal Certified.


Zaroa NZ is a family startup lead by Master of Meats Wilhelm Zabern and his son Marc Zabern and working with an amazing team at Shelly Beach Organics a new purpose build processing facility in Kaipara Heads as a Meat Development Centre to creating uniquely beautiful New Zealand Artisan Meats.


Zaroa NZ has been working at the Parnel Farmers Market , 545 Parnell Road Parnell for the past year to perfect our products and to introduce our brand. Our products include a range of Ready to heat, Ready to Eat, Meats including sausages, Saussi-Slabs, roasts, Sous-Vide, salami, bacon and charcuterie products.  We also created some more artisanal products that just excite the taste pallet including the Venison Savernaccio, Beef Pastrami, Lamb Bacon and Air Dried Beef and Venison. Our fermented Salami's have come off the racks and are absolutely amazing to have as a snack or add to a food platter.


Before the Corvid-19 lockdown, we did get some exciting news. We won a Gold medal at the Outstanding Food Producer awards for our Pohutukawa Smoked Angus Beef 18 hour Sous Vide cooked Brisket in the Pasture category.


All our products are processed at Shelly Beach Organics, on New Zealand's oldest organic farm Aotea Farm. Shelly Beach Organics is certified Ministry of Primary Industry (MPI), Halal certified,  export-ready purpose-built processing plant located in Kaipara Harbour, Auckland, New Zealand.


Our products are vacuum packed and shipped in insulated packages or boxes with ice packs to keep the products chilled for 48 hours.


We offer our customers convenience as well as quality products. Place an order with us before 3pm, and your products will arrive at your address the next day. If you’re south of Taupo or in the South Island, it might take a couple of days in chilled transport to get your order to you.
