Creating a Pork-Free Bacon using the traditional dry-curing method we took lamb shoulder and using a natural marinade of organic sea salt, vinegar, and spices then cooked and smoked with Pohutukawa. 

Free of artificial preservatives, it's fantastic to reheat and eat. Perfect for a BLT, add to Pasta Carbonara, or Sunday bacon and eggs

INGREDIENTS: Lamb, Purified Water, Organic Sea Salt, Spice and Spice Extract, Vinegar, Pohutukawa Smoke.

  • No artificial chemical ingredients, colouring, flavours, or preservatives.
  • No sodium nitrates or sodium nitrites added.
  • No Gluten. No Soy. 

INSTRUCTIONS:
Keep refrigerated between 1-4° degrees. Unopened bacon will have a 6-week shelf life. Can be frozen for 6 months. Once opened, eat within 4 days. Store leftovers in a container not in plastic wrap.

  • Cooking: Zaroa NZ Bacon is best cooked by frying in a pan for 2 minutes on each side, or until your preferred crispiness.
