POHUTUKAWA SMOKED HIGH COUNTRY LAMB BACON
Dry marinated High Country Lamb Bacon - Hot Smoked with Pohutukawa.
We have created a Pork Free Bacon, utilizing a new breed of lamb rich in flavour and fat to provide deliciously rich-tasting lamb bacon. Using the traditional dry-curing method we took various lamb cuts to trial the suitability for the best bacon. We created a natural marinade, free of artificial preservatives and only using organic sea salt, vinegar and hot smoke as a way to preserve the lamb meat the natural way. Within a few months, we got a great result.
